More Elite Dangerous fan designs.
The first ship I call the Observer. It is roughly the size of a Viper III, and carries one large-sized Guardian Gauss Cannon which currently does not exist in the game (But would be cool if it did). My work on the Observer was primarily to show that I do have some idea of how to create an orthographic for a 3D modeler to use.
I realized that some of this was going to end up cluttering my portfolio so I have included my recent thumbnail practice in this project as well. Let me know what you think of them in the comments below. I know normally you would just create silhouettes but I felt that a simple silhouette sheet was not going to help me, since I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted after the first 8 thumbnails.

I felt that, given its minimalistic design, a perspective view would not add much to the idea.
If the design was chosen to go forward with, I would definitely want to create a concept illustration for it.
These thumbnails were made after the Observer. There are 5 thumbnail ships here that I might like to pursue at a later time. Let me know which ones you wish were in Elite.
