4 concept sketch plants.
Just a quick assortment of 4 conceptual plants I drew in about an hour and a half with my new greyscale markers and a micron 005 pen.
I've kept them fairly simple but tried to make each sketch fairly easy to see where my mind was going, in case I were made to expand these ideas.
This was about an hour of concept practice with my new greyscale markers, in their original arrangement.
This is my personal favorite among the 4 concepts. I imagine some really solid outer layer of this plant and an "eye" formation near the heart of the plant.
This one was very challenging to try and get the idea across with my marker set and the size I'm working in (about 2x2 per sketch) but I imagined this to be either a fibrous cotton bush with 3-4 arms, or more like a willow.
I figured I should include something that has flowers... but surprise it's a woody plant with weird leaves!
This was intended as a sort of swamp cotton weed, I imagine it would continue growing like an aspen tree until someone comes along and uproots it.
