Ship Concepts, Dec.02.2020
This is about an hour and a half of work. I first spent about 45-60 minutes to develop ship 1, then another 45 minutes roughing out concepts 2-6 with light greys. I intentionally did not further develop ships 2-6 because my intention was to establish a series of ideas to expand upon later.
Ship 01 is inspired by Elite Dangerous and the prospect of a human/guardian hybrid ship, ships 2-6 were inspired by elements from ship 01.
This is a quick Photoshop edit of concept 01. I feel that this better illustrates my thinking for how it would appear as a side profile.

This was the very first thing I did. I spent 45 minutes putting this "flagship" concept together, which inspired the other concepts on the page.
The ships 2 through 6 were all made attempting to "steal" design elements from ship concept 01.
My personal favorites are 1, 4, and 5. I feel that I could expand in several directions with these if asked to.
